There are divergent views on how researchers should operate in the development space. Not all scholarly researchers desire to straddle the academic-practitioner divide. However, many researchers thrive while straddling academics and practice and in some cases, take it a step further to engage in activism. In this episode, we explore crossing academic and activist boundaries in development work. The episode features interviews with Dr. Jelili “Gana” Adebiyi and Dr. Etta Mercy Aki.
